Hunter Valley Website Design ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. We're a small operation based in Thornton, NSW — this policy is deliberately short because we don't collect much.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us:
- Your name, email address and phone number, if you submit our contact form or email/call us directly.
- Whatever details about your business and project you include in your enquiry or during a consultation — used only to prepare your quote and deliver the work.
Google Fonts is loaded from Google's servers to display this site's typefaces, which means your device requests those font files directly from Google and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request — the same as loading any image from an external site. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, communicate about your project, and deliver the website, logo or design work you've engaged us for. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't send marketing emails.
AI-assisted design work
As part of our design process, we sometimes use AI-assisted tools to help generate concepts, imagery or drafts. Where this happens, the business details, briefs or content you've provided for that specific purpose (e.g. your business name, industry, style preferences) may be processed by the relevant third-party AI platform in order to produce that output. We don't submit sensitive personal information to AI tools, and any AI-assisted output is reviewed and refined by us before it's delivered to you. Those platforms handle data under their own privacy policies, separate from ours.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or trade your personal information. We may share it with the service providers we rely on to run this business and deliver your project, including:
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes contact form submissions on our behalf.
- AI-assisted design tools — as described above, only where relevant to your project.
- Email and phone providers we use to communicate with you.
We won't disclose your information to anyone else unless required by law.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to keep the information you share with us secure, but as a small business we don't run our own servers — form submissions and communications rely on the security practices of the third-party platforms listed above.
